Eldren has a creamy, texture with a zesty taste, the younger it is eaten. As the cheese matures you get more of a cheesecake texture.

The cheese has an average shelf-life of just 3 weeks, but it can be eaten as young as 4 days. It is made with unpasteurised cows' milk by Cranborne Chase Cheese
