Boyton cheese
Handmade in North Tamerton by Terri Rasmussen, Boyton cheese is named after the farm from which the milk is obtained.
The cheese is produced from pasteurised ewes' milk, and vegetarian rennet. It is a traditional farmhouse cheese which is matured for 4 to 8 weeks. It has a tangy Pecorino-type flavour
A whole cheese weighs 300 g and larger truckles, weighing around 1.2 kg are available.
