Tomme du Revard cheese
Tomme du Revard is a cheese from the Vallée de L'Isère in the Rhône-Alpes region of France and is made with partially skimmed cows' milk. It belongs to the family of 'grey' tommes and is uncooked, pressed with a dry, brushed rind. The cheese is usually washed in 'marc de raisin' due to the proximity of vineyards in the valley and the residues of winemaking are regularly used for this purpose.
