Carré St Domnin cheese

Carré St Domnin is a soft unpasteurised goats' milk cheese produced at a farm called Le Petit Jabron, near Mont Ventoux in Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur. It is named after a local chapel.

It has a soft, creamy texture and is white in colour. The flavour is slightly citrusy, bitter and pepper with a lingering hint of mushroom. Because the cheese is presented with three lavender sprigs, it also has a slight hint of lavender.
