Method

  1. With clean hands, mix the mince, onion, garlic, salt, pepper, oregano, and mint.
  2. Moisten the bread in the wine or water.
  3. Add bread and egg to meat. Knead well.
  4. Shape into 2.5 cm (1") balls, dust with flour, and saute in hot olive oil until browned and cooked to your liking.

Serving suggestions

Use them to make New York-style stone baked pizza, Meatball pizza or serve them with spaghetti and one of the following sauces.

Variations

Add 1/2 a teaspoon of chilli flakes for spicier meatballs.
