Bird's eye chili peppers
The bird's eye chili pepper (or chili padi, cili padi, cabe rawit, phrik khii nuu, Thai hot, Thai dragon, Siling Labuyo, LadΓ’, and boonie pepper) is an extremely hot chili pepper and has a Scoville rating of 50,000-100,000.
These tiny little fiery chillies point downward from the plant and their colours change directly from green to red. This type of chili can be found in Malaysia, Brunei, Indonesia, and the Philippines but most commonly in Thailand. Although small in size compared to other types of chili, the chili padi is on the Scoville pungency scale.
