South Devon chilli farm

South Devon chilli farm

The South Devon Chilli Farm started in 2003 and has grown steadily to the point where we now grow over 10,000 chilli plants every year and harvest tons of fresh chillies which we sell fresh or use in our range of chilli sauces, preserves and chilli chocolate.

Our farm and shop are open for visitors and as such we are unique in this country. Nowhere else can you come along and wander among the fruiting chilli plants, sample all of the sauces, preserves and chocolate made on the farm and take away chilli seedlings, plants and seeds.

We are mostly open from 10-4 seven days a week, but for weekends between Christmas and Easter, we are closed. As well as the things we make, we also have fresh chillies for sale from July to November and also sell dried and smoked chillies.

Recommended by the BBC's James Wong, Jamie Oliver, Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall, Tom Parker-Bowles and many others.
