A bottle of dried mixed herbs

Mixed herbs are a mixture of different dried herbs, pre-mixed and ready for use. Whilst never as good as fresh herbs, they make a convenient stand-by for the busy cook.

A common mixture is: sage, thyme, marjoram, oregano and parsley.
