Pro Breeze XL 5.5L Air Fryer
Pro Breeze XL 5.5L Air Fryer
Apart from our breadmaker, our air fryer is our most used kitchen gadget. Our Tefal ActiFry AL806040 has been very good, but they are so expensive [£200 to £300] that I thought it time to try a cheaper variant. [Pro Breeze 5.5l £80 - March 2020]. The Tefal has a paddle system to constantly move the food around. This is sometimes a good thing, but it is more expensive to manufacture and it does break up many foods. The alternative when using a basket system, is to shake the basket every 8 minutes or so. No real hardship to my mind.
This air fryer is a monster. You could cook a whole small chicken in the 5.5 litre basket, there is that much room!
So far it's only been used a few times but am very pleased with the results. I shall update this page once it's been in use for a little while.
