At the Thai cookery demo I went to yesterday, the chap said not to peel ginger!  Apparently the skin has a lot of flavour and nutrients, so you only need to remove any bits that might look at bit manky --[[User:JuliaBalbilla|JuliaBalbilla]] ([[User talk:JuliaBalbilla|talk]]) 03:21, 18 October 2015 (BST)
