A nice easy one pot casserole recipe using shoulder of pork, always good for an economic dish.

Ingredients

- 1 kg boneless pork shoulder, minced
- 15g / Β½ oz lard, ghee or olive oil
- A Β½ teaspoon of Taste Sensation Italian seasoning
- A good pinch of freshly ground black pepper
- 1 large onion, peeled and chopped
- 3 cloves of garlic, peeled and crushed
- 1 tablespoon sweet paprika powder
- A good pinch of dried mixed herbs
- 1 bay leaf
- 3 tablespoons of Taste Sensation Mixed Sweet Red and Green Bell Pepper Granules
- 1 can of chopped plum tomatoes
- 100g / 4 oz button mushrooms, sliced
- 2 teaspoons cornflour
Method
- Fry the onions for 5 minutes in the oil
- Add the garlic and fry for a further 3 minutes, don't let it burn
- Mix the remaining ingredients together and stir well
- Slow cook for 1 hour on high
- Serve
