Rigotte du Forez is a tiny [[Cows' milk cheese|cows' milk cheese]] from the Loire département of the Rhône-Alpes. The [[Milk|milk]] can be [[Pasteurised|pasteurised]] or [[Unpasteurised|unpasteurised]] and historically [[Goats' milk|goats' milk]] was used. It is semi-soft with a slightly mouldy bright [[Orange|orange]] natural rind and is matured for 2-3 weeks. Some of the [[Cheeses|cheeses]] are macerated in [[White wine|white wine]]. It is consumed throughout the year and weighs 65g. Cylindrical in shape, it has a diameter of 5cm and a height of 3cm.
