Markies potatoes make the best chips
Fabulous with steak pie and mixed vegetables
We are extremely lucky to be living in Norfolk as it is a prime potato producing area. We get to try out all varieties of potatoes rather than the standard range offered by supermarkets. Markies potatoes have come to the very top for us, when it comes to making chips with an Air Fryer. They create a nice crunchy outer skin and doi not break up or turn 'fluffy' when overcooked in the air fryer.
I've seen them sold as 'Marquees', but I think that is a spelling error.
