Hacksaw for butchering

A hacksaw is a fine-toothed saw, originally and principally for cutting metal. For culinary usage they about the only way you will be able to cut through frozen meat.

You could probably put it through a dishwasher to sterilize it, but you would need to dry it immediately to prevent it rusting.

When I use my hacksaw for cutting meat, I use a brand new blade. They are so cheap, almost disposable. They can certainly be used for normal metal work duties after washing in a dishwasher and drying well.
